The RR tracks are stamped 1913, Algona Steel, 85. So they were made in 1913 at the Algona Steel works in Onterio Canada, 85 pounds per 3 foot lentgh. A 30 foot track would weigh 850 pounds. New rails are 135 pounds or more per 3 foot section.

The tracks were laid by the Denver & Rio Grande Western Rail Road (D&RGWRR) near Marysvale, Utah. Previously the line was named the Durango & Rio Grande Western Rail Road. The line was abandoned in the 1960's or 1970's. The tracks were salvaged and about 36 tracks wound up in Henriesville, Utah where they laid until 2009. Then Jim and Carol bought them and brought them back to Rockville, Utah.

Daron is making an awning pole out of one 10 foot section.
